CQS Natural Resources Growth and Income (formerly City Natural Resources High Yield Trust) seeks to provide shareholders with capital growth and income predominantly from a portfolio of mining and resource equities and of mining, resource and industrial fixed interest securities. CQS Natural Resources Growth and Income invests predominantly in mining and resource equities and mining, resource and industrial fixed interest securities (including, but not limited to, preference shares, loan stocks and corporate bonds, which may be convertible and/or redeemable).
The trust formerly known as City Natural Resources High Yield Trust
The trust changed its name from City Natural Resources High Yield Trust to CQS Natural Resources Growth and Income on 10 December 2018. This followed shareholder approval at the trust’s AGM on 7 December 2018. The name change reflects a decision by the board and investment manager to consolidate and emphasise the CQS brand going forward. However, in all other respects the trust remains unchanged. The management team remain in place, there was no change in strategy or investment process and CYN’s yield and growth objectives were also unaffected.

Ian Francis, Keith Watson and Rob Crayfourd are responsible for the day-to-day management of CYN’s portfolio. Keith and Rob focus on CYN’s equity holdings while Ian primarily focuses on its fixed income holdings.
