Dunedin Income Growth targets growth of income and capital from a portfolio invested mainly in companies listed or quoted in the United Kingdom that meet the Company’s Sustainable and Responsible investing criteria.

09:45 am Civitas Social Housing – Paul Bridge 

Civitas Social Housing was the first real estate investment trust dedicated to investing into social care housing and healthcare facilities. The majority of the company’s properties are designed to enable individuals with life-long care needs to live as independently as possible within a community setting. They are focussed on the delivery of mid-to-higher acuity care.

10:30 am Resonance – Simon Chisholm 

Resonance is a pioneering, award winning social impact investment company, managing 12 social impact investment funds and currently have circa £300 million under management. Their homelessness property funds aim to deliver both financial returns for investors and social impact, helping people at risk of or experiencing homelessness. Resonance funds address three core homelessness themes: homelessness and rough sleeping, vulnerable women – through our innovative gender lens property fund – and learning disability. To date their funds have housed 2,700 people in c1,000 homes. These funds represent a significant shift in tackling the problem of temporary accommodation, with investors including pension funds, local authorities, foundations, and international.

Ben Ritchie (Dunedin Income Growth) - Social Day

Ben Ritchie is Deputy Head of European Equities at abrdn and originally joined the company in 2002 as a graduate, having interned in 2000 and 2001. Ben graduated with a BA (Hons) in Modern History and Politics from Pembroke College, University of Oxford and is a CFA Charterholder.

Paul Bridge (Civitas Social Housing) - Social Day

Paul is the Chief Executive Officer within the Social Housing team at Civitas Investment Management. Paul has worked in all aspects of Social Housing for over 20 years and is a senior industry figure. From 2008 to 2014, Paul was Chief Executive of Homes for Haringey, a Registered Provider, where he was responsible for 800 staff and 21,000 homes. The organisation was awarded ‘Housing Organisation of the Year’ in 2012 and gained Investors in People Gold. For eight years prior to this, Paul was a Director at Hyde Group, a major G15 Housing Association, which provides homes and services to more than 95,000 customers.

Simon leads the development and management of Resonance’s social impact investment funds. He has twenty-six years of investment experience, including eight years of social impact investment experience at Resonance and 16 years in a number of roles with N M Rothschild & Sons in the UK and internationally.
