QuotedData will be hosting our Round the World Investment Trust webinar series every Thursday from the 24th February to 17th March 2022. Each weekly event will include a panel discussion with 3 – 4 managers focusing on a specific region of the world, followed by a Q&A session. Video presentations of the managers’ funds will also be made available to view on-demand.

Harry Nimmo - Investment Director

Harry graduated with an MBA from the University of Edinburgh in 1984 and joined the company as an Investment Analyst with responsibility for UK equity funds in 1985. He became Senior Investment Analyst with sector responsibility for larger UK-quoted companies funds in 1990 and Investment Manager responsible for the UK equity smaller (quoted) company funds in 1993.

Ben Ritchie - Head of European Equities

Ben Ritchie is Deputy Head of European Equities at abrdn and originally joined the company in 2002 as a graduate, having interned in 2000 and 2001. Ben graduated with a BA (Hons) in Modern History and Politics from Pembroke College, University of Oxford and is a CFA Charterholder.

James Goldstone - Fund Manager

James Goldstone is a fund manager at Invesco Perpetual based in the UK. He joined the firm in 2012 and previously was co-head of pan-European sales at Banco Espirito Santo. Currently he manages the Invesco UK Equity Pension, Pan-European Equity Income and Japanese Domiciled Pan-European Equity funds. There is no style bias within the Invesco Perpetual UK equity teams investment approach, which means the managers have the freedom to position the funds in response to underlying market conditions. James holds an Investment Management Certificate from the CFA Society of the UK and a BA in French from Manchester University.

James Burns - Partner - Investment management - funds

James co-heads Smith & Williamson’s Managed Portfolio Service as well as leading the Multi Manager team, which oversees the Smith & Williamson MM Global Investment Fund, the Defensive Growth Fund and the MM Endurance Balanced Fund.

James joined the firm in 1999 and started working on the investment trust desk in 2001. He also sits on the firm’s Tactical Asset Allocation Policy group.
