Pantheon’s Helen Steers to retire at the end of 2025

Pantheon International (PIN) has announced that Helen Steers MBE, co-lead manager and Partner at Pantheon, will retire at the end of 2025, completing the trust’s long-planned succession process. Steers, who has been with Pantheon for 21 years and has led PIN since 2015, will step back following a distinguished 30-plus year career in private markets.

Her successor, Charlotte Morris, has been co-lead manager alongside Steers since June 2024 and will continue to manage PIN following Helen’s departure. Morris, a Partner in Pantheon’s Global Secondaries team, has 19 years of experience with the firm and brings deep expertise in secondaries investing – an increasingly important segment within private equity.

PIN will continue to be supported by a dedicated team and benefit from the global resources of Pantheon’s 131 investment professionals. The trust also draws on the firm’s broader sustainability and marketing leadership through Eimear Palmer and Brett Perryman, respectively.

Chair John Singer CBE thanked Helen for her “exceptional contribution” and said the board looked forward to continuing its work with Charlotte and the wider team as PIN moves ahead with the final phase of its strategic plan.

Commenting on her retirement, Helen said it had been a privilege to manage PIN and that she was confident Charlotte would carry forward the trust’s disciplined and long-term approach.
