Morning briefing: GCP Asset Backed Income to pay out another £33.5m; plus USF

GCP Asset Backed Income (GABI), the £147m debt fund in wind-down since July last year, will return £33.5m to shareholders through a third compulsory partial redemption of shares. The price per share will reflect their net asset value of 79.79p at 30 June minus costs. Payment is expected in December.

US Solar Fund (USF) said its portfolio was broadly stable in the third quarter with net asset value of $198.3m at 30 September though NAV per share fell 1.1% to 64 cents from 30 June. A dividend of 0.875 cents per share will be paid by 29 December in line with the revised dividend target of 3.5 cents per share
