JZ Capital acquires Danish Van leasing company

JZ Capital Partners has announced the acquisition of S.A.C, an operational van leasing company based to the south of Copenhagen in Denmark. S.A.C. is JZCP’s first Danish investment. S.A.C’s is engaged in flexible short and long term leases (the average lease period is approximately four years). The company controls the full life cycle of its product, including procurement, financing, service & warranty and resale. JZCP acquired 45% of S.A.C through its EuroMicrocap Fund for approximately €2.8 million. In addition, JZCP has acted as a mezzanine lender, providing €4.8 million of direct financing to S.A.C. JZ say that, in their view, they are backing a highly experienced management team in the van leasing industry. They say that the acquisition creates the opportunity to build a substantial asset backed balance
sheet of vans, with strong investment returns.
