RAB Special Situations aimed to maximise its total return primarily through the capital appreciation of its investments. There are no material limitations on the investment strategies that the Investment Manager may employ on behalf of the Master Fund or the instruments, markets or countries in which the Master Fund may invest or trade. In addition, the Master Fund may use leverage to enhance its return on equity. However, the Investment Manager is committed generally to making new investments, both on a long and short basis, only in the securities of issuers that operate within the natural resources sector and which are admitted to trading on a recognised stock exchange or securities which are convertible into such securities.
