Overview

Seraphim Space Investment Trust aims to generate capital growth over the long term through investment in a diversified international portfolio of Space Tech businesses. “Space Tech businesses” means businesses which rely on space-based connectivity or precision, navigation and timing signals or whose technology or services are already addressing, originally derived from, or of potential benefit to the space sector.

On 8 May 2026, Seraphim Space announced that it had raised £137m in its C-share offer before costs: £76.4m in the institutional placing, £45m to retail investors and a £15.1m direct subscription by a single institution. The money raised will go into a separate pool of assets and once invested will convert into Seraphim’s ordinary shares. The C share pool of cash will be invested over time in new opportunities.

C shares will convert into ordinary shares on a NAV for NAV basis. Rather than waitng for almost the entireity of the C share pool to be invested and then C shares converted in one go (as has been typical for previous C share issues), a proportion of the C shares will convert periodically (subject to a minimum amount of the C share money being invested). The minimum is the lower of £40m or 10% of the value of the ordinary share pool.
