SDU : Schroder UK Growth sticks with Schroders
The Board of Schroder UK Growth has been mulling who should be managing the fund post the departure of Julie Dean from Schroders (she has just turned up at Sanditon) and has decided to retain Schroders as the manager. The day-today manager of the fund will be Philip Matthews. He has been running the Schroder UK Alpha Plus Fund since October 2013. He used to run Jupiter’s Growth & Income Fund.
The Board has agreed with Schroders to reduce the management fee. With effect from 1 November 2014, this will be 0.5% of the Company’s net assets, reduced from 0.6%.
They say the major shareholders are supportive of this decision.
