Establishment shifts money into UK equities

Establishment Investment Trust has published results for the year ended 31 March 2015. Over that period the fund delivered a return on net assets of 13.6% and a return to shareholders of 6.9%. The dividend was increased from 4.7p to 4.9p. By contrast he FTSE WMA Stock Market Balanced Index returned 12.0%.

During the year they sold their gold bullion investment and invested money into UK “blue chip” stocks with the aim of boosting the income generated by the portfolio. This underpinned the increase in the dividend.

There’s no other information on the portfolio in the report or any performance attribution.
