Anglo American plc has exited the Tarmac business after selling its interests in the operating joint venture entities which have historically operated under the Tarmac name in the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Qatar to the Bouygues Group. The parties have not disclosed the value of the sale.
In July 2015, Anglo American sold its 50% ownership interest in Lafarge Tarmac to Lafarge.
