Private Equity Investor to delist from the London Stock Exchange

Private Equity Investor has announced that it has made applications to the FCA to remove the listing of its shares from the Official List and to the London Stock Exchange to cancel trading in its shares on the London Stock Exchange’s market for listed securities. Private Equity Investor also says that, in connection with the removal of its listing and cancellation of its admission to trading, it will also withdraw the its shares from CREST. Private Equity Investor says that this announcement follows the announcement, made by KHP Strategic 2 LP on 27 September 2016, that KHP Strategic 2 LP’s offer for the entire issued and to be issued ordinary share capital of Private Equity Investor has been declared unconditional in all respects. The application to cancel Private Equity Investor’s listing is at the request of KHP Strategic 2 LP.

Private Equity Investor says that it is expected that the removal of its listing on the Official List, and cancellation of admission to trading on the London Stock Exchange’s market for listed securities, will take effect no earlier than 8 a.m. on 25 October 2016 (this being 20 Business Days after the date of the company’s notice of cancellation). Private Equity Investor says that the delisting and cancellation of trading will significantly reduce the liquidity and marketability of any its hares not acquired under the Offer at that time.
