Henderson International Income Trust (HINT) has announced that, further to its announcement on 10 February 2017 of a possible issue of equity, that in the light of positive feedback from existing and potential new shareholders, HINT’s board has decided to proceed with an issue of C shares. It says that existing shareholders will be given an opportunity to participate in the issue and that the issue will be subject to the approval of shareholders at a general meeting to be convened in due course. The expected closing date for the issue is in early May 2017.
