The trust formerly known as Chelverton Small Companies Dividend Trust has announced that it is changing its name to Chelverton UK Dividend Trust. According to the company, the change of name is expected to become effective on 15 June 2018 and updated by the FCA and LSE on 18 June 2018. The Company say that its investment policy remains unchanged.
Rationale behind the name change
The trust’s board says that it believes that the new name better reflects the Company’s ethos of a UK income fund in the UK Equity Income sector as the Trust seeks an above average yield and capital growth.
Ticker, ISIN and SEDOL unchanged
The Company says that it is retaining its existing ticker (SDV) and that its ISIN and SEDOL numbers will also stay the same. Furthermore, it also says that existing share certificates will remain valid and certificates in the new name will only be issued as required.
