CIP Merchant Capital turns to Alkemy

CIP Merchant Capital turns to Alkemy – CIP Merchant Capital has made an investment in Alkemy SpA, which it describes as a leading company in the innovation of business models for large and medium-sized companies to improve their market position and competitiveness. Alkemy listed on the AIM Italia market of Borsa Italiana in December 2017, raising in aggregate, EUR32.7 million.

For the year ended 31 December 2017, Alkemy achieved net sales of EUR44.89 million, an increase of 28.9% on the prior year, EBITDA of EUR5.06 million, net profits of EUR1.53 million and, as 31 December 2017, had total assets of EUR54.15 million.

The company has acquired, in aggregate, 285,000 shares in Alkemy, representing approximately 5.2% of Alkemy’s issued share capital, for a total consideration of approximately EUR3.3 million.
The investment in Alkemy constitutes CIP’s third investment.
