HICL Infrastructure announced the completion of the acquisition of the transmission assets associated with the Race Bank Windfarm, located off the coast of Norfolk, by Diamond Transmission Partners, a consortium comprising HICL and Diamond Transmission Corporation (a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation).
- Gresham House Energy Storage raised gross proceeds of approximately £41.6m through a share placing. The capital raised is intended to fund asset acquisitions in the exclusivity pipeline and the further pipeline. The company expects its cash resources to be fully deployed by the end of the first quarter of 2020.
- Supermarket Income REIT has acquired a Sainsbury’s supermarket in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, from Legal & General for £60.4m, reflecting a net initial yield of 5.25%.It is being acquired with an unexpired lease term of 13 years with five-yearly, upward-only, RPI-linked rent reviews. Originally developed in the 1980s, the store was extensively refurbished and extended in 2007.
