- RTW Venture (RTW) made a note of the 15 April 2021 announcement by one of its portfolio companies, Biomea Fusion (Biomea), regarding its pricing of a $153m IPO and admission to trade on Nasdaq Global Market under ticker “BMEA”. Biomea is a preclinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery, development and commercialization of irreversible small molecules to treat patients with genetically defined cancers. Biomea is advancing its lead preclinical program BF-219, an irreversible menin inhibitor, for the treatment of menin-dependent cancers. Prior to IPO, RTW together with other funds managed by RTW Investments participated in a $56m Series A financing round in Biomea in December 2020.
- Syncona (SYNC) announced that one of its portfolio companies, Gyroscope Therapeutics (Gyroscope), a clinical-stage gene therapy company focused on treating diseases of the eye, has filed a registration statement on Form F-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission relating to a proposed IPO in the United States of its American Depositary Shares.
- LondonMetric Property (LMP) has updated on its rent collection for the current quarter and for the year to 31 March 2021. It said it has received 98% of rent for the quarter April – June 2021, with a further 0.8% expected imminently. Broken down into sectors, distribution was at 99%, long income at 98%, offices at 99% and retail parks at 95%. In respect of the full year to March 2021, 98.1% of £114.1m has been collected or is being collected, with 1.1% subject to asset management initiatives, 0.4% forgiven and 0.4% remaining unpaid.
