In QuotedData’s morning briefing 22 October 2021:

  • Third Point Investors (TPOU) has published a circular in relation to an EGM at which shareholder approval will be sought for the exchange facility that shareholders are to be offered in 2022, details of which were previously announced on 1 September 2021 (click here to read out story on this). Separately, we have also published details of the company’s response to Asset Value Investor’s letter of 30 September 2021 (AVI is also pushing for action on the discount) – click here to see our coverage of this.
  • Secured Income Fund (SSIF) and KKV Secured Loan has both made announcements that the temporary leave granted to their manager, Dawn Kendall, has been extended. Both say that it is not clear if Dawn will be able to return in the near term.

We also have Nippon Active Value’s fundraising proposals, Ecofin US Renewable Infrastructure’s acquisition of Whirlwind (a wind farm in Texas), Third Point Investor’s rejection of an EGM request by Asset Value Investors, and an investment by Tritax EuroBox.
