Princess Private Equity announces sudden withdrawal of nominations for two directors

230623 PEY Confusion

In a very unusual move, Princess Private Equity (PEY) has announced that two of its directors, Steve Le Page and Felix Haldner, have decided to withdraw their nominations for the company’s AGM, which is scheduled for today. PEY has not provided any explanation for the sudden development, which will almost certainly lead to speculation as to the cause (were they pushed or did they jump and for what reasons). PEY’s announcement says:

“As the Company’s Notice of Meeting has already been issued, the Company confirms that the resolutions to reappoint Steve Le Page and Felix Haldner as Non-Executive Directors of the Company (resolution number 3 and 7) are now withdrawn. The withdrawal of resolutions 3 and 7 does not otherwise affect the validity of the Notice of Meeting, the proxy form or any proxy votes already submitted on other proposed resolutions. The numbering of all other proposed resolutions at the AGM will remain unchanged.

“The Princess Board of Directors thanks Steve Le Page and Felix Haldner for their contributions and service to the Company during their tenure.”
