- Schroder UK Mid Cap (SCP) announced the appointment of Harry Morley as an independent non-executive director of the company, effective from 1 September 2023. Mr Morley has also been appointed a member of the Audit and Risk, Management Engagement, Nomination, and Remuneration Committees.
- Witan Investment Trust (WTAN) released its half year results for the period ended 30 June 2023.The company’s NAV total return was +8.7%, 1.5% ahead of the composite global benchmark’s total return of +7.2%. Shares rose 3.6%, leading to a widening of the discount, although this was less than the AIC Global sector average. The company took advantage to buy back shares at an average discount of 8.5%. Operationally, performance was strong with revenue up 16% year on year. A second interim quarterly dividend of 1.45 pence per ordinary share will be paid in September. Total dividends paid in respect of the period are 2.90 pence per ordinary share (2022: 2.80 pence).
- abrdn Private Equity Opportunities Trust (APEO) announced its estimated NAV for 31 July 2023 was 740.2 pence per share, a 1.0% decrease from the month of June.
