QuotedData’s morning briefing 20 December 2024 – DNE

221222 christmas morning

In QuotedData’s morning briefing 20 December 2024:

  • Dunedin Enterprise (DNE) has published an updated timetable for the suspension of its shares. DNE says that, if shareholders approve of the Board’s recommended proposals to place DNE into members voluntary liquidation and appoint its proposed liquidators (Gareth Rutt Morris and Jonathan Dunn – both licensed insolvency practitioners of FRP Advisory Trading Limited) at the general meeting on 6 January 2025 in Edinburgh, DNE will no longer apply for its listing on the Official List and from trading on the London Stock Exchange to be cancelled at 8.00am on 7 January 2025. Instead DNE’s shares are expected to remain suspended from Listing until, at least, after the payment of the first cash distribution to shareholders DNE says that its shares should therefore continue to be “qualifying investments” for ISA purposes. However, shareholders are strongly recommended to consult their professional advisers regarding their own tax position and their own ISA provider in advance of the general meeting.
