JPMorgan Japanese has announced that Xuming Tao has been made a co-manager of the trust, working alongside the existing team of Nicholas Weindling and Miyako Urabe. Xuming has been a member of the Japanese equity team at JPMAM in Tokyo since 2019 and was a co-manager of JPMorgan Japan Small Cap Growth & Income before it was absorbed into the larger trust.

Separately, the trust announced that it beat its benchmark by 1.4 percentage points over the six months ended 31 March 2025.

[JFJ is a contender to acquire Fidelity Japan. The trust already expanded last year with the merger with Japan Small Cap Growth and Income. It makes sense to beef up the team.]
