FCI : F&C Capital & Income increases div for 21st year running
F&C Capital & Income, managed by Julian Cane (pictured), has announced its full year results for the year ended 30 September 2014. Over that period it generated a net asset value total return of 3.8% and a 6% return to shareholders. By contrast the return on the FTSE All-Share Index was 6.1% and so the fund underperformed. However, the dividend was increased by 4.2% to 9.85p, the 21st year running that they have increased the dividend.
The dividend increase came despite a 6.2% fall in revenue to 10.56p.
