Emile Haynie catalogue latest for Hipgnosis – Another day, another catalogue acquisition by Hipgnosis Songs Fund. Today it is the turn of Emile Haynie, “an award-winning American producer who has collaborated on some of the most iconic hip hop and pop albums of all time“.
In 2009 and 2010, Emile Hayne collaborated as an executive producer on Kid Cudi’s three times Grammy Nominated ‘Man on the Moon: The End of Day‘ and ‘Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager‘ which were respectively certified 2x platinum and platinum in the US and which remain two of the most influential hip hop albums of all time.
Emile Haynie also produced Lana Del Rey’s 2012 album ‘Born to Die’, which reached Number 1 in five countries including the UK and is certified 3x platinum in the UK and platinum in the US. ‘Born to Die’ was the fifth bestselling album of 2012 globally and has been streamed over 1 billion times on Spotify alone. Emile Haynie also produced the fourth single from the album ‘Summertime Sadness‘ which is certified 4x platinum in the US and 2x platinum in the UK.

This included producing, alongside Jeff Bhasker, the Grammy Award nominated and US Number 1 ‘Locked Out Of Heaven‘ which is certified 7x platinum in the US and 2x platinum in the UK and the US platinum singles ‘Young Girls‘ and ‘Gorilla‘.
Emile Haynie has also collaborated on Adele’s US diamond certified album ‘25‘, which reached number 1 in 32 countries including the US and UK and with over 25 million copies sold is one of the best selling albums of all time, Eminem’s 2010 album ‘Recovery‘ which was nominated for two Grammy Awards winning “Best Rap Album” and is certified 3x platinum in the US and the UK as well as Fun’s Grammy Award winning and US 3x Platinum album ‘Some Nights.

Hipgnosis has acquired 100% of Emile Haynie’s worldwide copyrights, including publishing and writer share, as well as producer royalty income streams, of his catalogue comprising 122 songs.
