- Change of name for GLI Alternative Finance
In March 2016, the investment manager of GLI Alternative Finance underwent a rebranding exercise from GLI Asset Management Limited to Amberton Asset Management Limited. Furthermore, as announced on 7 July 2016, it is proposed that the investment policy of the Company be amended to bring greater exposure to high quality alternative finance loans, with such changes due to be voted upon at the General Meeting to be held on 3 August 2016.
In order to reflect this change in strategy, the Board has decided to change the name of the Company from GLI Alternative Finance plc to The SME Loan Fund plc with effect from 31 August 2016. The ticker for the Ordinary Shares will be changed to SMEF:LN, which will also take effect from 31 August 2016.
