Chinese volatility in early August and the ‘Black Monday’ falls that followed may seem like big enough warning signals to avoid investing in Asia altogether. However, it is worth remembering that for most countries in the Asia (ex-Japan) region expected long-term growth remains attractive relative to more developed economies, and the region has much more to offer than just China.
