Qannas Investments’ investment objective is to generate value for shareholders by creating a portfolio of opportunistic investments in real estate, debt, and equities (both public and private) in the MENA region, Europe and North America. Qannas has appointed ADCM Ltd. (a wholly owned subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Financial Group) as its investment manager. ADCM’s investment team is based in Abu Dhabi and has experience making investments across the globe.
Investments will be made where there is liquidity requirement or portfolio repositioning on the part of a vendor such that assets become available at a discount to their intrinsic value. The company will aim to acquire such assets and then to dispose of them at a premium to their acquisition cost. It is expected that a majority of the company’s portfolio will continue to be invested in the GCC.
