We are delighted to invite you to join James Thom, Manager of abrdn New Dawn Investment Trust, over lunch for a presentation on all things Asia. James is Head of the India pod, Senior Investment Director based in Singapore and an experienced Asian investor.
He will share his views on the challenges and headwinds that the region as a whole is facing, providing in depth perspective on individual countries, as well as an update on abrdn New Dawn’s positioning and performance.

James Thom is a Senior Investment Director on the Asian equities team, based in Singapore. He is responsible for both Asian and Indian equity strategies and is the Lead Manager of the abrdn New Dawn Investment Trust and of the India Fund Inc, as well as co-Manager of the abrdn New India Investment Trust. He is also co-Portfolio Manager of abrdn’s flagship Asia Pacific ex-Japan strategy. James joined the company in 2010 from Actis, an Emerging Markets Private Equity firm. He graduated with an MBA from INSEAD, an MA from Johns Hopkins University and a BSc from University College London.
