For those shareholders who are unable to attend the meeting in person, but who wish to follow the AGM proceedings, you can do so via a live webinar this year. Details on how to register, together with access instructions will be available shortly on the Company’s website at: www.blackrock.com/uk/brig or by contacting the Company Secretary at [email protected]. It is not possible to attend, speak or vote via this medium and it is solely intended to provide shareholders with the ability to watch the proceedings. Nevertheless, I trust shareholders will find this new facility helpful.
Additionally, if you are unable to attend you can still exercise your right to vote by proxy or appoint a representative to attend in your place. Details of how to do this are included on the AGM Proxy Card provided to shareholders with the annual report. If you hold your shares through a platform or nominees, you will need to contact them and ask them to appoint you as a representative in respect of your shares in order to attend, speak and vote at the AGM.
