Andrew McHattie is the editor and publisher of Investment Trust Newsletter. He is a qualified financial adviser and runs his own firm in Bristol. He has previously written The Investor's Guide to Warrants, Andrew McHattie on Covered Warrants, and was co-author of How to Invest in Sports Shares.

Laura Foll | Joint Portfolio Manager, Law Debenture

I am the joint manager of the portfolio alongside James Henderson. I am an employee of Janus Henderson Investors and am not a Law Debenture director. I first became involved in the management of Law Debenture’s portfolio in 2011 and became joint manager in August 2019

I joined Henderson in 2009. I was a global analyst and later an assistant fund manager for the global equity income team. I have a BSc in economics and economic history from the London School of Economics and hold the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. I also work with James Henderson as joint manager of Lowland Investment Company plc, Henderson Opportunities Trust plc and Janus Henderson UK Equity and Growth Fund.

I appear regularly on the BBC Radio 4 Today Programme and BBC News, talking all things finance and economics.

Denis Jackson | Chief Executive Officer, Law Debenture

Denis was appointed as Group Chief Executive Officer on 1 January 2018. Denis joined Law Debenture in July 2017 as Chief Commercial Officer. Denis previously was at Capita plc as director of new business enterprise, having been a director at Throgmorton UK Limited (which Capita acquired). Prior to that, Denis was regional general manager - Europe and the United States - for Tibra Trading Europe Limited, a FCA regulated proprietary trading company, which I joined from Citigroup (formerly Salomon Brothers). Denis had spent almost 20 years there in a variety of roles including in Treasury (both in New York and London), as Head of the Finance Desk in Hong Kong, Head of Fixed Income Prime Brokerage in New York and ultimately, Head of EMEA Prime Brokerage Sales.
