Richard started his career as a journalist and his work has been published in many of the UK national newspapers. He has been covering the real estate market for more than five years, most recently as news editor at leading real estate trade publication Property Week. Richard has an in-depth knowledge of the property sector with a focus on the industrial and retail markets, and has vast experience in writing news, analysis and comment on the real estate sector. He has regularly chaired panel debates at industry events including at international property conference MIPIM.

Previously an Executive Director at CBRE, where he was Head of the UK Industrial team, Richard has over 25 years’ experience of the UK Industrial and Logistics markets. Will Fulton - Fund Manager, UK Commercial Property REIT

Will Fulton graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 1987 with a degree in Land Economy when he joined the company, becoming a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1990. Throughout his 30 year career he has held a variety of commercial real estate positions gaining multi-disciplinary experience spanning investment, valuation, asset management, debt facility management, development and investor relations both in the UK and across continental Europe. Prior to managing UKCM, he oversaw a team managing the £2.3 billion Standard Life Heritage With Profits Real Estate Fund.

James Hart was appointed as Investment Director of Witan Investment Trust plc in April 2015. Previously he worked at Cayenne Asset Management Ltd as a Portfolio Manager specialising in listed investment companies and as an emerging market specialist and Head of Funds at Bank Julius Bar (London) Ltd. Prior to investment management, he worked in institutional sales and as a Research Analyst at a boutique stockbroker.

Richard Hickman - Director of Investment and Operations, HarbourVest Global Private Equity

Richard Hickman joined HarbourVest in 2014 to focus on the activities of HarbourVest Global Private Equity Limited (“HVPE”), a closed-end investment company that invests in and alongside HarbourVest-managed funds. Richard is responsible for the day-to-day management of the company, including communications with HVPE stakeholders. He joined HarbourVest after seven years with 3i plc, latterly serving as a manager in the business planning and analysis group.  Richard is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and received a BSc in Economic History from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2001.

Guy Anderson - Portfolio Manager for The Mercantile Investment Trust, J.P. Morgan Asset Management

Guy Anderson, managing director, is a portfolio manager within the J.P. Morgan Asset Management International Equity Group, based in London. An employee since 2012, Guy was previously an investment analyst at Breeden European Capital and at Pendragon Capital. He obtained a M.Eng (Hons) in Engineering from the University of Oxford and is a CFA charterholder.

Harry has been instrumental in building the abrdn small-cap and mid-cap team over the past 25 years, managing UK small & mid, European small and global small & mid-cap funds. Harry has 37 years industry experience including 28 years in smaller companies. Harry has won numerous awards over the last 20 years for fund performance including the PLC award three times in 2006, 2008 and 2019 for the best performing smaller companies fund. Harry was instrumental in developing the Quality, Growth & Momentum “Matrix” led investment process which has now been in place for 25 years within abrdn small and mid-cap company funds. Harry has also managed US and UK larger company strategies. Harry is currently co-manager of the abrdn UK Smaller Companies Growth Trust plc and the ASI UK Smaller Companies Fund (OEIC) alongside Abby Glennie. Harry is Honorary Consul for Finland in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen.

His work there included bespoke projects on healthcare portfolio construction for several institutions. Paul was previously an analyst and corporate financier at UBS Warburg and studied biochemistry.
