Tom is editor of ETF Stream. He joined ETF Stream as a senior writer in March 2019 before being appointed deputy editor in January 2020 and subsequently editor in March 2021. He started his career at Investment Week in August 2016 as an asset management correspondent covering ETFs. Outside the office, he is a big boxing, football and cricket fan and can be found most weekends at Victory Road supporting Leiston FC.

Nik Bienkowski | HANetf

Nik is a veteran of the ETF industry, joining Gold Bullion Securities, a provider of the world’s first gold ETF, as Head of Institutional Investment in 2002. In 2005, Nik helped found ETF Securities. In 2011, Nik founded Boost ETP with Hector which, in 2014, became WisdomTree Europe with Nik as co-CEO.

Following the buyout of Boost ETP by WisdomTree Europe in 2016, Nik stepped down as co-CEO to establish HANetf, with business partner Hector McNeil.

James started his career at M&G in 1984 where he wrote research on a wide variety of UK companies and managed a number of UK equity funds as well as M&G’s Fund of Investment Trusts. From 2001-2010 he managed Advance UK Trust PLC, a global fund of funds that promoted good corporate governance within the closed-end fund industry. James has been a non-executive director of several companies. He writes articles on the closed-end fund industry for various publications, including a regular column in Citywire, and sits on the judging panel for the Investment Company of the Year Awards.
