Laura Foll is a Portfolio Manager on the Global Equity Income Team at Janus Henderson Investors, a position she has held since 2014. Laura joined Henderson in 2009 as part of the graduate scheme. She was subsequently named a global analyst and later an assistant fund manager for the Global Equity Income Team.
Laura graduated with a BSc degree (Hons) in economics and economic history from the London School of Economics. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and has 14 years of financial industry experience.

Richard is Co-Fund Manager of Chrysalis Investments and Head of Strategy within the Jupiter UK Small & Mid Cap team. Prior to Chrysalis, Richard worked at Merian Global Investors (now part of Jupiter) as a UK mid-cap portfolio manager, and as an equity analyst at Orbis Investment Advisory. He has previously also held the role of senior associate in the Investment Management division of PricewaterhouseCoopers. Before beginning his investment career in 1998, Richard attained a degree in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Oxford. He is also IIMR-qualified and is a CFA® charterholder.

Peter Hewitt is a Director and Fund Manager in Global Equities and is currently responsible for managing the CT Global Managed Portfolio Trust PLC, which was listed in 2008. He joined Columbia Threadneedle through the acquisition of BMO GAM (EMEA) in 2021, having previously been with BMO (and its predecessor companies) since 1999. Between 1983 and 1996 Peter was a Fund Manager with Ivory & Sime (later known as ISIS), working initially in the US team and from 1986 in the UK team, where he was responsible for a variety of pension fund and investment trust clients. Prior to joining the group in 1999, Peter spent two years as Head of UK Equities with Murray Johnstone. Peter holds a BA (Hons) in Economics from the Heriot Watt University.

James started his career at M&G in 1984 where he wrote research on a wide variety of UK companies and managed a number of UK equity funds as well as M&G’s Fund of Investment Trusts. From 2001-2010 he managed Advance UK Trust PLC, a global fund of funds that promoted good corporate governance within the closed-end fund industry. James has been a non-executive director of several companies. He writes articles on the closed-end fund industry for various publications, including a regular column in Citywire, and sits on the judging panel for the Investment Company of the Year Awards. James also sits on the Marten & Co board.
