Richard Williams | Property Analyst, QuotedData

Richard started his career as a journalist and his work has been published in many of the UK national newspapers. He has been covering the real estate market for more than eight years, most recently as news editor at leading real estate trade publication Property Week. Richard has an in-depth knowledge of the property sector with a focus on the industrial and retail markets, and has vast experience in writing news, analysis and comment on the real estate sector. He has regularly chaired panel debates at industry events including at international property conference MIPIM.

Kevin Mofid | Head of Logistics & Industrial Research, Commercial Research, Savills

Kevin is a specialist in the industrial and logistics sector and has been a director in the Savills commercial research team since 2014.

Kevin leads the research function into industrial and logistics markets for Savills, collecting, collating and analysing occupational and Investment data on those markets. This data is included in Savills regular Big Shed Briefing research but also in bespoke reporting for clients.

Kevin is a regular commentator on the market in the press and appears at industry events offering his thoughts on the direction of the industrial and logistics market.

He has previously chaired the society of property researchers.

Jeff O'Dwyer | Fund Manager, Schroders

Experienced Fund Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the investment management industry spanning European and Australian markets. Skilled in Asset Management, Investment Management, Real Estate Due Diligence, Capital Markets, and Private Equity. Strong finance professional with a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc. Hons.) focused in Land Economics from University of Technology, Sydney. FCA approved.

Paul Bridge | CEO, Social Housing, Civitas

Paul is the Chief Executive Officer within the Social Housing strategy. Paul has worked in all aspects of Social Housing for over 20 years and is a senior industry figure. From 2008 to 2014, Paul was Chief Executive of Homes for Haringey, a Registered Provider, where he was responsible for 800 staff and 21,000 homes. The organisation was awarded ‘Housing Organisation of the Year’ in 2012 and gained Investors in People Gold. For eight years prior to this, Paul was a Director at Hyde Group, a major G15 Housing Association, which provides homes and services to more than 95,000 customers.

Throughout his career, Paul has been responsible for leading the acquisition of several thousand properties in London and the South East, with the primary purpose of extensive physical, social and economic regeneration. Paul has been responsible for investing several hundred million pounds into Social Homes. During his career, Paul has also held a variety of non-executive roles in and out of the sector and the Chairman of Thames Valley Charitable Housing Association which established a successful private rental sector business funded by equity and debt through various institutional investment funds.

Stephen Inglis | CEO of LSPIM

Stephen Inglis is the Chief Executive Officer of LSPIM. He has over 30 years’ experience in the commercial property market, the majority of which has been working in the investment and development sector. His career to date has been split between London and Scotland giving him extensive knowledge of the UK property market. He is a chartered surveyor and became a member of RICS in 2001 and is also a member of the Investment Property Forum. He has, since June 2013, acquired or sold approximately 250 assets in deals totalling in excess of approximately £1.2 billion.

Matthew Norris CFA | Director of Real Estate & Fund Adviser

Matthew is the lead adviser to the VT Gravis UK Listed Property (PAIF) Fund and the VT Gravis Digital Infrastructure Income Fund. He has more than two decades investment management experience and has a specialist focus on real estate securities. He served as an Executive Director of Grosvenor Europe where he was responsible for global real estate securities strategies. Matthew holds a BA (Hons) degree in Economics & Politics from the University of York, the Investment Management Certificate and is a CFA charterholder. He regularly participates in industry panel discussions on real estate trends and investment strategies.

Roger Clarke | CEO of IPSX, The Real Estate Stock Exchange

Roger Clarke has spent 30 years working in European capital markets including investment banking roles at NM Rothschild, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, JP Morgan Cazenove and Stifel Nicolaus, as well as undertaking a secondment to the UK Takeover Panel.

He has also been Head of UK Capital Markets for ING Real Estate, and more recently he was Head of Corporate Finance at M7 Real Estate where he set up and ran the alternative lending platform, Tunstall Real Estate. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen.

Jon Armentia | Corporate Director & CFO, Lar España

Jon Armentia is the Corporate Director & CFO of the Company. He joined Lar España in 2014. Mr. Jon Armentia was appointed CFO of Grupo Lar in 2006, covering the area of retail properties. Previously he worked in Deloitte (formerly Arthur Andersen) for four years. Mr. Jon Armentia has a Bachelors Degree in Business Management and Administration from Universidad de Navarra and a General Management Program (PDG) from IESE and has over 20 years of experience in audit, finance and real estate, in which he has participated in several Committees and Boards of Directors.

Richard Kirby | Director – Property Funds, Columbia Threadneedle Real Estate Partners LLP

Richard Kirby, MRICS, joined Columbia Threadneedle Real Estate Partners (formerly BMO Real Estate Partners) in 1990. He has been a fund manager since 1995 and has experience of managing commercial property portfolios across all sectors for open-ended, closed-ended and life fund clients. Richard has been lead manager of the F&C Commercial Property Trust since launch in 2005 where his responsibilities include advising on and implementing property portfolio strategy, sales, acquisitions, asset enhancement and management. He is a director and sits on both the Executive Committee and Investment Committee of Columbia Threadneedle Real Estate Partners. He is a Chartered Surveyor and a member of the Investment Property Forum, the British Council of Offices and Revo.

Matthew Howard | Director – Fund Manager, Columbia Threadneedle Real Estate Partners LLP

Matthew joined Columbia Threadneedle Real Estate Partners (formerly BMO Real Estate Partners) in July 2017 as a Director and to take over as Fund Manager of the RSA Shareholders Real Estate Fund. He was also Deputy Fund Manager of the Balanced Commercial Property Trust until taking on the Lead Fund Manager role for CT Property Trust in July 2022. Before joining the group in 2017 he was a Deputy Fund Manager at Hermes Investment Management, where he spent six years as part of the BT Pension Scheme fund management team and launched the company’s PRS Fund. Before Hermes, Matthew worked for a substantial AIM listed real estate fund specialising in UK development and German real estate. Matthew is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, has an MSc in Real Estate, and holds the IMC.

Mike Best | Head of Logistics, British Land

Mike is Head of Logistics at British Land. He joined from Logicor, a pan-European logistics specialist, where he helped establish the business in 2011 and focussed on UK acquisitions, developments and asset management. Mike previously worked at Deutsche Bank and is a CFA chartholder.

Oliver Shah | Associate Editor, The Sunday Times

Oliver Shah is associate editor at The Sunday Times. He was named business journalist of the year at the 2017 Press Awards for his investigation into Sir Philip Green’s £1 sale of BHS. He was also named business journalist of the year at the 2017 London Press Club Awards. His first book, Damaged Goods: The Inside Story of Sir Philip Green, the Collapse of BHS and the Death of the High Street was published by Penguin in June 2018.

Troels Andersen | Lead Manager, abrdn European Logistics Income plc

Since 2019 Troels has been Fund Manager of abrdn’s multi-sector European Long Income Real Estate Fund, having successfully overseen its launch. Prior to this he was Fund Manager of abrdn’s Aberdeen Property Nordic I Fund, together with a further segregated value-add mandate. He was previously a member of abrdn´s Nordic and European Investment Committees, which approve all major decisions for investments in the region. Troels brings 25 years of real estate investment experience, including logistics asset transactions, together with knowledge of debt facility management, having spent the first part of his career working for German banks in both Germany and the UK.

Jason Baggaley | Manager, abrdn Property Income Trust ltd

Jason Baggaley manages the Guernsey registered and London-listed abrdn Property Income Trust. Jason, who joined the company in 1996, has 30 years' industry experience and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
