Richard started his career as a journalist and his work has been published in many of the UK national newspapers. He has been covering the real estate market for more than eight years, most recently as news editor at leading real estate trade publication Property Week. Richard has an in-depth knowledge of the property sector with a focus on the industrial and retail markets, and has vast experience in writing news, analysis and comment on the real estate sector. He has regularly chaired panel debates at industry events including at international property conference MIPIM.

Kevin Mofid

Jeff O'Dwyer | Fund Manager, Schroders

Experienced Fund Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the investment management industry spanning European and Australian markets. Skilled in Asset Management, Investment Management, Real Estate Due Diligence, Capital Markets, and Private Equity. Strong finance professional with a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc. Hons.) focused in Land Economics from University of Technology, Sydney. FCA approved.

Stephen Inglis
Stephen Inglis | Non-Executive Director, Regional REIT

Stephen Inglis is Non-Executive Director of Regional REIT. He has over 30 years’ experience in the commercial property market, the majority of which has been working in the investment and development sector. His career to date has been split between London and Scotland giving him extensive knowledge of the UK property market. He is a chartered surveyor and became a member of RICS in 2001 and is also a member of the Investment Property Forum. He has, since June 2013, acquired or sold approximately 250 assets in deals totalling in excess of approximately £1.2 billion.

Matthew Norris
Matthew Norris CFA | Director of Real Estate & Fund Adviser

Matthew is the lead adviser to the VT Gravis UK Listed Property (PAIF) Fund and the VT Gravis Digital Infrastructure Income Fund. He has more than two decades investment management experience and has a specialist focus on real estate securities. He served as an Executive Director of Grosvenor Europe where he was responsible for global real estate securities strategies. Matthew holds a BA (Hons) degree in Economics & Politics from the University of York, the Investment Management Certificate and is a CFA charterholder. He regularly participates in industry panel discussions on real estate trends and investment strategies.

Roger Clarke
Roger Clarke | CEO of IPSX, The Real Estate Stock Exchange

Roger Clarke has spent 30 years working in European capital markets including investment banking roles at NM Rothschild, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, JP Morgan Cazenove and Stifel Nicolaus, as well as undertaking a secondment to the UK Takeover Panel.

He has also been Head of UK Capital Markets for ING Real Estate, and more recently he was Head of Corporate Finance at M7 Real Estate where he set up and ran the alternative lending platform, Tunstall Real Estate. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen.

Jon Armentia

Jon Armentia is the Corporate Director & CFO of the Company. He joined Lar España in 2014. Mr. Jon Armentia was appointed CFO of Grupo Lar in 2006, covering the area of retail properties. Previously he worked in Deloitte (formerly Arthur Andersen) for four years. Mr. Jon Armentia has a Bachelors Degree in Business Management and Administration from Universidad de Navarra and a General Management Program (PDG) from IESE and has over 20 years of experience in audit, finance and real estate, in which he has participated in several Committees and Boards of Directors.

Joanna Tano | Head of Research – Columbia Threadneedle Real Estate Partners LLP

As Head of Research for CT Real Estate Partners, Joanna is responsible for setting the Research strategy for the European platform. She advises the firm and its clients on market and sector opportunities, challenges and risks. She also works with key stakeholders to influence the strategy and composition of portfolios and business development opportunities including prospective product launches, and uses her experience in economic and property market analysis to guide the investment decision making process. Joanna joined CT Real Estate Partners in April 2021 from Cromwell Property Group where she was the Head of Research. Prior to that she was responsible for the research team across EMEA at Cushman & Wakefield. Joanna has 20 years of experience in commercial real estate research and strategy through roles she held in the United Kingdom and France. She holds a Joint Honours degree in Psychology & Sociology from City, University of London.

Daniel Walsgrove | Deputy Fund Manager – Columbia Threadneedle Real Estate Partners LLP

Daniel Walsgrove, MRICS, joined CT Real Estate Partners (CT REP) in 2017. Daniel has 9 years of post-qualified experience in the UK real estate sector across both the asset and fund management disciplines. Prior to joining CT REP, Daniel spent four years at LaSalle Investment Management with a responsibility for the conception and delivery of accretive asset management strategies across an extensive retail-focussed portfolio. Since joining CT REP, Daniel’s role has developed to include oversight of CT REP’s ‘Alternatives’ sector strategy, extensive activity within the wider capital markets and, since April 2021, Deputy Fund Manager of the listed CT Property Trust. Daniel is a Chartered Surveyor, holds a post-graduate diploma in Real Estate from the College of Estate Management and has completed the CFA Level 4 Certificate in Investment Management (IMC).

Matthew Howard
Matthew Howard | Director – Fund Manager, Columbia Threadneedle Real Estate Partners LLP

Matthew joined Columbia Threadneedle Real Estate Partners (formerly BMO Real Estate Partners) in July 2017 as a Director and to take over as Fund Manager of the RSA Shareholders Real Estate Fund. He was also Deputy Fund Manager of the Balanced Commercial Property Trust until taking on the Lead Fund Manager role for CT Property Trust in July 2022. Before joining the group in 2017 he was a Deputy Fund Manager at Hermes Investment Management, where he spent six years as part of the BT Pension Scheme fund management team and launched the company’s PRS Fund. Before Hermes, Matthew worked for a substantial AIM listed real estate fund specialising in UK development and German real estate. Matthew is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, has an MSc in Real Estate, and holds the IMC.

Mike Best
Mike Best | Head of Logistics, British Land

Mike is Head of Logistics at British Land. He joined from Logicor, a pan-European logistics specialist, where he helped establish the business in 2011 and focussed on UK acquisitions, developments and asset management. Mike previously worked at Deutsche Bank and is a CFA chartholder.

Oliver Shah is associate editor at The Sunday Times. He was named business journalist of the year at the 2017 Press Awards for his investigation into Sir Philip Green’s £1 sale of BHS. He was also named business journalist of the year at the 2017 London Press Club Awards. His first book, Damaged Goods: The Inside Story of Sir Philip Green, the Collapse of BHS and the Death of the High Street was published by Penguin in June 2018.

Troels Andersen
Troels Andersen | Lead Manager, abrdn European Logistics Income plc

Since 2019 Troels has been Fund Manager of abrdn’s multi-sector European Long Income Real Estate Fund, having successfully overseen its launch. Prior to this he was Fund Manager of abrdn’s Aberdeen Property Nordic I Fund, together with a further segregated value-add mandate. He was previously a member of abrdn´s Nordic and European Investment Committees, which approve all major decisions for investments in the region. Troels brings 25 years of real estate investment experience, including logistics asset transactions, together with knowledge of debt facility management, having spent the first part of his career working for German banks in both Germany and the UK.

Jason Baggaley
Jason Baggaley | Manager, abrdn Property Income Trust ltd

Jason Baggaley manages the Guernsey registered and London-listed abrdn Property Income Trust. Jason, who joined the company in 1996, has 30 years' industry experience and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Darren Veenhuis | Head of Corporate Finance & Investor Relations, Grit Real Estate Income Group

Darren joined Grit in October 2018 to head up Grit’s investor relations function following its successful debut on the main market of the LSE earlier that year. A former Director and Head of CEMEA equity sales at Deutsche Bank (London), he successfully led the distribution of numerous initial public offerings, block trades and secondary market sell downs across local emerging market and London Stock Exchanges.

Prior to joining Deutsche Bank in 2006, Darren worked in Structured Syndicate at JP Morgan (London) and Ernst & Young in both London and South Africa. Darren, who is a qualified South African Chartered accountant, has been an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales since 2010 and a CFA Institute Charter Holder since 2005.

James Beaumont | CFO, Industrials REIT

James was appointed CFO of Industrials REIT in 2019 having been Head of Finance since 2015. He previously spent five years as finance director of alternative asset funds at Shore Capital Group, where his focus was on German real estate. Prior to that, he had eight years of experience in European real estate and financial services through senior finance roles at Cambridge Place Investment Management and Genworth Plc. James qualified as a chartered accountant in 2002, after serving articles with UHY Hacker Young. He holds a BSc (Hons) degree from the University of Leeds.
