QuotedData will be hosting our Round the World Investment Trust webinar series every Thursday from the 24th February to 17th March 2022. Each weekly event will include a panel discussion with 3 – 4 managers focusing on a specific region of the world, followed by a Q&A session. Video presentations of the managers’ funds will also be made available to view on-demand.

Elizabeth Kwik - Investment Manager

Elizabeth Kwik is an Investment Manager on the China/Hong Kong Equities Team at abrdn where she is responsible for researching the Consumer Discretionary, Automobiles & Components and Banking sectors. Elizabeth sits on the China A share and All China equity fund portfolio construction groups (pods). Elizabeth joined abrdn in 2013.

Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics. She is a CFA charterholder.

Hisashi Arakawa - Deputy Head of Investment Management, Japan

Hisashi Arakawa joined the company in 2016 and is based in the Tokyo office. He has a MPhys in Physics from the University of Oxford and a MBA from INSEAD and is a CFA® charterholder. He was previously vice president in the corporate banking group of Development Bank of Japan.

Nick Wood - Head of Investment Fund Research

I head up the Investment Fund Research team at Quilter Cheviot, which has dual responsibilities for both Quilter Cheviot and Quilter Investors. The role of the team is to find best of breed collective investments to populate our clients’ portfolios, and carry out on-going assessment on those in which we are currently invested.

Nick spent the first 10 years of his career at Capital Group, the US asset manager, working as a quantitative analyst within the investment team. He subsequently spent 5 years at investment consultancy Stamford Associates within the Fund Research team.
