The outlook appears positive: valuations in the sector have started to improve but remain low. Innovation remains robust with record numbers of drug approvals and novel technologies. M&A activity in the therapeutics and biopharma space has started to accelerate. Political risks have receded, and the FDA regulatory environment is expected to remain favourable.
