NSA : Nimrod Sea Assets buys dive support vessel
Nimrod Sea Assets has bought a dive support vessel (to be renamed Red 7 Alliance) for $10.6m. The deal has been achieved by acquiring a 99.5% stake in the company that owns the boat. Red 7 Alliance will be back-to-back bareboat chartered to Red7Marine Group (a specialist provider of equipment and services to the offshore, inland and coastal marine construction and maintenance markets, both in the UK and overseas). The vessel was built in 1984 and has worked the majority of its life in the North Sea but is currently in Cyprus. It is intended the vessel will enter the North Sea saturation diving market for a portion of the working year and the boat is being moved to Great Yarmouth.
