Hansteen sells more of Industrial portfolio

Hansteen has sold off £43.9m worth of its industrial portfolio. The eleven UK assets sold from the Ashtenne Industrial Fund (which Hansteen holds 36.7% of) comprise Langley Park (a 48 acre site in the centre of Chippenham in Wiltshire with 800,000 sq ft of office and industrial space occupied by tenants including Siemens PLCS, IXYS UK Westcode Ltd and Schneider Electric Limited and generating an annual rental income of £1.9 m), sold for £32m; nine multi-let industrial estates in the North East of England with 334,135 sq ft of space and rental income of £0.9m; and units A-C of Townsend Industrial Estate, Dunstable a 50,000 sq ft distribution unit sold with vacant possession to an owner occupier.

Hansteen said that none of these assets was generating enough income for them.
