Whitehall Road offices receive planning permission:
Town Centre Securities has secured planning consent for an eight story, 70,000 square foot office with 38 parking spaces on a brownfield plot on Whitehall Road, Leeds. The development forms part of the TCS Whitehall Riverside scheme which includes 300,000 square foot of premium office space, a 500 space multi-storey car park and significant public realm and is linked to the already established walkway and pedestrian bridge. They expect work on the scheme will begin later this year, subject to part pre-let, for which negations are in hand.
NHS Trust to open at Merrion Centre:
TCS has completed a £6m agreement with NHS Trust for a 7,000 square foot health clinic in the Merrion Centre. The centre is expected to open in autumn 2015 and will fulfil the NHS and Leeds City Council’s pledge to provide a more efficient and integrated health service in Leeds. It is anticipated that the centre will see c.45,000 visitors a year.
