Over the past few years the number of investment trusts paying quarterly dividends has increased, with 118 out of more than 400 investment companies paying a quarterly dividend, according to a recent survey by QuotedData. Meanwhile, five investment trusts pay a monthly dividend, in contrast to only one 18 months ago.
