The Board of Electra Private Equity PLC has announced the resignations of Dame Kate Barker and Francesca Barnes from the Board of Directors with immediate effect.
Dame Kate joined the Board in 2010 and was Chairman of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee and Senior Independent Director. She served as interim Chairman from November 2015 until Neil Johnson’s appointment in May 2016.
Francesca Barnes joined the Board in March 2013 and until her resignation was the Chairman of the Valuations Committee. The Company has engaged a search firm to find two additional independent non-executive directors, one of whom will take the role of Senior Independent Director.
