A year ago, how many of you would have thought about investing in European smaller companies?
At the time, we were trying to work out the impact of Brexit on the UK and the EU. Commentators were also looking ahead to votes in the Netherlands, France and Germany and worrying whether we were on the brink of a complete collapse of the union. EU growth was lacklustre and there were worries over the strength of bank balance sheets.
Over the last year however, TR European Growth (TRG) has grown its net asset value (NAV) by 54% and delivered an even more phenomenal 75% to shareholders. How has it done it?
