JPMorgan fund manager passes away

JPMorgan fund manager passes away – The board of JPMorgan Income & Capital Trust plc has announced that it is sad to announce the passing of Sarah Emly, co-manager of the fund.

They say “She battled with ill health these past few years with a courage, humour and determination that was truly inspirational. The company’s portfolio continues to be managed by John Baker, supported by the broader UK Equities team.”

Likewise, JPMorgan Claverhouse has made a similar announcement. In its case, the company’s portfolio continues to be managed by William Meadon, supported by the broader UK Equities team.

A JPMorgan employee since 1995, Sarah was previously an analyst in the UK and pan-Europe team before joining the portfolio management team in 1999. She held a B.Sc. (Hons) in International Management and Modern Languages (French) from the University of Bath, and the Securities Institute Diploma, and was a Fellow of the Securities Institute. Sarah was a CFA charterholder.

The team at QuotedData would like to send their condolences to Sarah’s family, friends and colleagues. She will be missed.
