Change in manager line-up for NB Global Floating Rate – NB Global Floating Rate Income Fund says that Neuberger Berman Europe Limited, the investment manager has notified it of the resignation of one of the team, Martin Rotheram, who will depart the firm following completion of a six-month notice period.
Neuberger Berman Europe Limited has confirmed that the company will continue to be managed by portfolio management team members Stephen Casey, Daniel Doyle and Joseph Lynch, who will be joined by Vivek Bommi, senior portfolio manager, global non-investment grade credit (based in London).
Vivek Bommi has over 20 years’ investment experience and has been at Neuberger Berman for over 11 years. He sits on the credit committee for high yield and senior floating rate loans. Prior to joining the firm, Vivek worked in the leverage finance groups at The Carlyle Group and Banc of America Securities. He started his career as an investment analyst at Intel Capital. Vivek earned a BS from the University of Illinois, an MBA from Columbia Business School, has been awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a Certified Public Accountant.
There will be no changes to the company’s investment objectives or process.
Martin Rotheram joined the Neuberger Berman in 2006 and was a managing director. He was based in London and part of its global non-investment grade credit team, with a focus on European credit and loan portfolios. He cam to NB when it acquired LightPoint Capital Management Europe in 2007. Prior to joining LightPoint, Martin was a director of acquisition finance at CIC, a manager of corporate finance at Sumitomo Trust & Banking and held various positions at Arbuthnot Latham Private Bank and National Westminster Bank. Martin is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and holds the Investment Management Certificate.
