Hansteen and Warehouse REIT deal collapses – Warehouse REIT has announced that the parties have been unable to agree terms and consequently the discussions have been terminated. As a result of the company not proceeding with the transaction, trading in Warehouse REIT’s shares on AIM is expected to be restored today. Hansteen‘s comment is just as terse.
[QD comment: Warehouse REIT has been suspended from trading since 26 July 2018. The deal would have transformed warehouse REIT but would have required it to raise additional capital. Competition for industrial assets is fierce and it may be that Hansteen finds another buyer for these assets.]
