- Empiric Student Property (ESP) has reported half-year results to 30 June 2019; revenue grew by 14% to £35.7m while EPRA NAV was up 2%. In the manager’s report, ESP said that the UK higher education sector continues to both grow and polarise. There is strong demand for education at top tier universities, but the bottom tier are struggling to attract more students. This means selectivity of location is key when student accommodation providers are considering their growth plans.
