  • Yellow Cake, the uranium fund, is instituting a $2m buyback programme in an effort to narrow its discount. The programme lasts for three months, shares will be held in treasury.
  • Syncona says that its portfolio company, Freeline will be disclosing further data from its Phase 1/2 B-AMAZE trial investigating a novel gene therapy, FLT180a, for Haemophilia B on Friday 7 February 2020 at 14:00-15:00 at the 13th Annual Congress of the European Association for Haemophilia and Allied Disorders (EAHAD). Previously, Freeline has disclosed 66- and 74-week data for the first cohort of two patients who were treated with the lowest study dose (4.5x1011vg/kg).
  • Henderson High Income has announced the appointment of Richard Cranfield as a non-executive director with effect from 1 March 2020. Richard is a partner in law firm Allen & Overy LLP, where he is global chairman of the corporate practice and co-head of its financial institutions group. On 1 October 2019, Richard was appointed as the chairman of IntegraFin Holdings plc, the ultimate owner of the investment platform provider Transact.
