Impact Healthcare REIT increases dividend target

Impact Healthcare REIT, the care home owner, has increased its dividend target for the year to 31 December 2021 by 1.9% after a strong year.

The group said its target dividend for the year is 6.41p per share from 6.29p, in line with the inflation-linked rental uplifts it received in 2020.

Net asset value was up slightly in the quarter to the end of December 2020 to 109.58p per share (September 2020 : 109.06p). This contributed to a NAV total return for the year of 8.46%, composed of dividends paid and 2.77p per share NAV growth.

The group’s portfolio increased in value by 4.9% in the quarter, mainly due to acquisitions and a slight uplift on a like-for-like basis.

Vaccination update

As at 28 January 2021, residents at 100 (93%) of the group’s care homes had received at least the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination.
