Schroder REIT has collected 85% of rent billed for the first quarter of the year, the company has announced.
The sector breakdown of rent collected so far was: offices 94%, industrial 97% and retail/leisure 54%.
The group said it expects to recover a “significant portion” of the outstanding amount.
Asset management
The company completed the acquisition of two multi-let industrial estates in December 2020 for £36.5m, adding £2.7m of annual rent to the portfolio and significant growth potential.
It has also completed several lettings across its industrial portfolio including a lease renewal 34.9% ahead of the previous rent at its Millshaw Industrial Estate in Leeds.
