- Round Hill Music Royalty Fund (RHM) has acquired a significant share of the publishing rights of Niko Moon, the American country singer/songwriter (pictured). The catalogue comprises 29 compositions, including songs performed by Zac Brown Band, Avicii, and Sir Rosevelt, and includes the number one Zac Brown Band hits “Homegrown“, “Keep Me in Mind“, “Heavy is the Head“, “Beautiful Drug” and “Loving You Easy“. The fund already owned some rights relating to the #1 Zac Brown Band hit, “Loving You Easy” as it was co-written by Al Anderson, whose catalogue is in the portfolio. Niko Moon is signed to Sony Music Nashville/RCA Nashville. In 2021, he earned the songwriter of the year award at the SESAC Nashville Music Awards. The catalogue has a revenue mix of 37% Mechanical, 52% Performance, 10% Sync and 1% Other.
- Octopus Renewables Infrastructure Trust (ORIT) has invested £2.5m and agreed to provide up to a further £7.5m in development funding for nine newly formed joint venture onshore wind farm development companies. The joint venture partner is Wind 2 Limited, a specialist UK onshore wind developer. The plan is to develop, over the next 5-10 years, up to nine onshore wind farms in Scotland and Wales with a potential combined capacity of approximately 570MW. The trust’s investment, which is a co-investment alongside another fund managed by Octopus Renewables Limited (the Octopus Managed Fund), gives it and the Octopus Managed Fund preferential rights to fund the construction of the projects reaching ready to build stage.
